What USDT is, in one paragraph
USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin: a crypto token built to hold a value of one US dollar, backed by reserves held by its issuer. For a casino player that means your balance doesn’t swing around like Bitcoin’s does; 100 USDT today is meant to be worth about 100 USD tomorrow. The same USDT exists on several blockchains (Tron, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and others), and that’s where people get blur: the coin is the same, but the network it travels on is not interchangeable. Pick the network the casino shows, and the rest of this guide is easy lah.
Which network: TRC20, ERC20 or BEP20
Every casino cashier that takes USDT shows a network next to the address. In Southeast Asia that’s almost always TRC20 first, sometimes ERC20 as well, occasionally BEP20. Here’s what each one means for you:
| Network | Blockchain | Typical fee | Typical speed | When to use it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TRC20 | Tron | Low, paid in TRX by the sender | Seconds to a few minutes | Default at SEA cashiers; use it when the casino lists it |
| ERC20 | Ethereum | Higher and variable (gas) | Minutes, longer when Ethereum is busy | Only if the cashier lists it and TRC20 isn’t offered |
| BEP20 | BNB Smart Chain | Low | Minutes | Only where the cashier explicitly lists it |
We’re not printing exact fee numbers because they change by the hour; your exchange or wallet shows the fee before you confirm. The rule that never changes: the network you select when sending must match the network of the address you paste. A TRC20 address starts with “T”; an ERC20 or BEP20 address starts with “0x”. If the letters don’t match the network you picked, stop. Sending ERC20 USDT to a TRC20 address is the single most expensive mistake in crypto casino play, and no live chat can undo it.
Durian tip: Casinos sometimes list only one network, and it’s not always TRC20. Read the cashier every time, even at a casino you’ve used before. Don’t anyhow send from a saved address either; cashier addresses can rotate.
Wallets: send from an exchange, or hold your own
You have two ways to hold USDT before it goes to the casino, and both are fine. Which one suits you depends on how often you play and how much you want to manage.
| Exchange withdrawal | Self-custody wallet | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | You buy USDT on a MAS-licensed exchange (Coinhako, Crypto.com, Independent Reserve) and withdraw straight to the casino address | You move USDT to a wallet app whose keys you hold, then send to the casino from there |
| Steps | Fewer: buy, withdraw, done | One extra hop each way |
| Payouts | Casino sends to your exchange deposit address | Casino sends to your wallet address |
| Control | Exchange holds the keys and applies its own terms | You hold the keys; no one can freeze it, and no one can recover it if you lose the phrase |
| Who it suits | Occasional players who buy as they go | Regulars who want one stable address for deposits and payouts |
Two things to know about exchanges. First, they publish which networks they support for USDT: Independent Reserve supports ERC20 and TRC20; check the list in the Coinhako and Crypto.com apps before you withdraw. Second, exchanges have their own terms about what you can do with your coins, and we don’t speak for them. Our guide to buying USDT in Singapore covers the licensed route step by step.
Step by step: cashier to confirmations
The screens differ slightly between casinos, but this is the flow at every one of the seven on our list.
- Log in and open the cashier. Choose Deposit, then Crypto or USDT. At GOD55, me88 and Maxim88 you deposit into a Main Wallet and transfer to game wallets afterwards.
- Pick the network the casino offers. If there’s a choice, TRC20 is the cheap default. Note the network name; you’ll need to match it in step 5.
- Copy the deposit address with the copy button, not by retyping. If the cashier shows a memo or tag, copy that too and paste it in the memo field when you send. Some cashiers also show a QR code you can scan from your wallet app.
- Open your exchange or wallet and choose Withdraw or Send, then USDT.
- Select the same network you saw in step 2. Paste the address, check the first and last four characters against the cashier, and paste the memo if there was one.
- Enter the amount. Remember the network fee is taken by the sender on top, so if you want 200 USDT to arrive, send 200 and let the app add the fee, or send a little more if your app deducts it from the amount. The screen tells you which.
- Confirm with 2FA. Exchanges will ask for your authenticator code or an SMS code they send; a casino never needs your bank OTP for this.
- Wait for confirmations. The casino credits after the network confirms the transaction a set number of times, shown in the cashier if the casino publishes it. On TRC20 this is usually a few minutes at most; BK8 says up to 3 minutes for USDT.
- Check the credit, then transfer to a game wallet and choose your promo code if you want a bonus. Same rule as fiat: no code at the transfer step, no bonus. Our wagering guide explains what the turnover means before you say yes.
Steady. The first time takes ten minutes because you’re double-checking everything. The fifth time takes two.
Fees and minimums: what the cashier shows and what it doesn’t
Three separate costs can appear, and only one of them is the casino’s:
- Network fee. Paid by the sender to the blockchain, shown in your exchange or wallet before you confirm. Low on TRC20, variable on ERC20.
- Exchange withdrawal fee. Some exchanges add their own fee on top of the network fee. Check in the app; we don’t print numbers we can’t verify today.
- Casino fee or conversion. BK8’s FAQ says it charges nothing for deposits or withdrawals. The other casinos we review don’t publish a crypto fee schedule, so whatever applies shows in the cashier before you confirm, along with the SGD amount they’ll credit.
Minimums: none of our seven SG cashier records shows a published USDT minimum, so we won’t invent one. Expect the cashier to display it on the deposit screen. Bonus minimums still apply in SGD terms (S$50 at BK8 and me88, S$30 at GOD55 and UWIN33 for their welcome offers), so make sure your USDT converts to at least that much if you’re chasing a bonus.
Confirmations and timing: our casinos’ stated figures
“Pending” on a crypto deposit has two halves. First the network confirms your transaction (public, you can watch it on a block explorer with the transaction hash). Then the casino credits it, which is where the stated times below come from.
| Casino | USDT deposit time | USDT payout | Payout time |
|---|---|---|---|
| BK8 | Up to 3 minutes (FAQ); BTC/ETH up to 15 | Yes | Processed within 25 minutes |
| me88 | 0–5 minutes | Yes, in the currency you deposited | 0–5 minutes advertised |
| Maxim88 | Within 15 minutes (sbo.net) | Not stated | Not published |
| GOD55 | Minutes (operator claim) | From Bronze tier | Minutes once approved |
| DK88 | Not published | Yes | 0–24 hours after approval |
| AW8 | Not published | Yes | 15 minutes to 24 hours |
| UWIN33 | Not published | Only if your last deposit was crypto | Verified in 10–30 minutes |
If your transaction shows as confirmed on the explorer but the casino hasn’t credited after double its stated window, go to live chat with the transaction hash, the amount, the network and the time. That hash is your receipt; with it, a real casino can find your deposit in seconds. Without it, you’re asking them to search a haystack.
Worked example: S$300 of play, funded by PayNow
Say you want roughly S$300 in a casino balance and your exchange quotes S$1.30 per USDT (illustrative; use the live rate in the app). Here’s the arithmetic, including the places people forget:
| Step | Figure |
|---|---|
| Target casino balance | S$300 |
| USDT needed at S$1.30 | 300 ÷ 1.30 ≈ 230.8 USDT |
| Buffer for exchange withdrawal fee + network fee | Add about 2 USDT (check the app) |
| USDT to buy | ≈ 233 USDT |
| SGD to top up by PayNow | 233 × 1.30 ≈ S$302.90, plus any trading fee or spread the app shows |
| What the casino credits | Its own SGD rate on 230.8 USDT, shown before you confirm |
Two lessons. Don’t buy exactly the amount you want to arrive, because the fee comes off somewhere. And the casino’s rate may differ a little from the exchange’s, so screenshot the deposit screen; if you want to compare rails, our PayNow deposit guide shows the fiat path with no conversion at all.
Withdrawing back to USDT: the rules by casino
Crypto out is where the fine print lives. Each casino has a slightly different rule, and knowing it before you deposit saves a long chat later.
- BK8: USDT, BTC and ETH all pay out. Withdrawals are processed within 25 minutes; the FAQ states no fees on its side. Same-name rules apply to bank payouts; for crypto, just make sure the receiving address is yours.
- me88: you withdraw in the currency you deposited. Deposit USDT, withdraw USDT. Deposit by PayNow, withdraw by bank. Play your deposit through once first.
- DK88: USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH and LTC pay out, 0–24 hours after approval, and DK88 can hold payouts until your account is verified.
- GOD55: crypto deposits are open to all; USDT withdrawals open from Bronze tier. Entry-group members withdraw by PayNow or bank.
- UWIN33: crypto payouts only if your last deposit was crypto, and its S$10 free credit can’t be cashed out in crypto at all.
- AW8: USDT pays out within 15 minutes to 24 hours. Its free credit pays to a Singapore bank only.
- Maxim88: USDT, BTC and ETH deposits are listed; the review and cashier record don’t state crypto payouts, so ask live chat before you rely on it. Its crypto-only rewards programme assumes you deposit and withdraw in crypto.
Durian tip: The clean pairing is deposit USDT, withdraw USDT, at a casino that states both. BK8 and me88 do. Mixing rails (PayNow in, USDT out) is where “my withdrawal was rejected” stories start.

Mistakes that cost real money
We’ve seen every one of these. Don’t be the next story.
- Wrong network. Said it three times already; saying it again. Match the cashier.
- Missing memo. If the cashier shows a memo or tag and you leave it blank, the casino can’t link the deposit to you. Recoverable with live chat, but slow.
- Sending from a saved address. Cashier addresses can change. Copy fresh every time.
- Buying the exact amount. Fees come off somewhere, and you land under the bonus minimum.
- Forgetting the promo code. Crypto deposits follow the same transfer-and-code flow as fiat at GOD55, me88 and Maxim88.
- Mixing rails. Deposit fiat, demand USDT. UWIN33 and me88 will say no, politely.
- Depositing to a lookalike site. A fake cashier with a real-looking QR code is the crypto version of a phishing page. Start from our review or the official domain, as our scam-spotting guide explains.
- Leaving a big balance at the casino. Win, withdraw, hold the USDT in your own wallet or sell it. The casino isn’t your bank, and casino.guru rates some of these brands low on trust for a reason.
