How to Deposit at an Online Casino with PayNow: Step by Step, Limits & Fixes (2026)

Why the payment rail matters more than the bonus

The flip side: PayNow is a one-way street at most casinos. You pay in by PayNow, but the payout comes back as a bank transfer to an account in your own name at BK8, me88 and UWIN33. GOD55 is the exception that lists PayNow for withdrawals too. That’s not a problem lah, just something to know before you register with a nickname that doesn’t match your DBS account.

One more thing that catches people. Offshore casinos change their receiving accounts often, and the account you paid last week may not be the one in the cashier today. Pay to an old one and your money sits in limbo while finance tries to trace it. Before you press Deposit: four things to settle

Five minutes of prep saves an hour of live chat later. Confirm plus chop.

1. Your casino name must match your bank name. BK8, UWIN33 and DK88 all say withdrawals go only to an account in the same name. Register with your full name as it appears on your bank account, not “Ah Boy88”.
2. Verify early. DK88’s T&Cs let it hold withdrawals until you’re verified, Maxim88 requires photo ID before a cashout, and BK8 may ask for ID plus a bank statement. Do it on day one, while you’re calm.

4. Check your own PayNow limit. Your bank app has a daily PayNow or FAST transfer cap you set yourself. If you plan a S$2,000 top-up, raise it in the bank app first, otherwise the payment fails on your side and the casino never sees it.

Step by step: a PayNow deposit at a Singapore casino

The screens differ a bit between casinos, but the flow is the same everywhere. Here’s the version that works at GOD55, me88, UWIN33, Maxim88, BK8 and AW8.

1. Log in and open the cashier. Look for Deposit, Wallet or Funds. At GOD55, me88 and Maxim88 you deposit into a Main Wallet first and move money to game wallets afterwards.
2. Choose PayNow. Some cashiers list it next to “Instant Bank” or “Quick Pay”. Don’t pick “Bank Transfer” if you want PayNow, because the two can route to different receiving accounts.
3. Enter the amount. Type the exact figure you’ll pay, within the min and max the screen shows. Round numbers help the finance team match it faster.
4. The casino shows a PayNow QR code or UEN/mobile number. Open your DBS, OCBC, UOB or other bank app, choose PayNow, and scan the QR or key in the number shown. Pay the exact amount.
5. Reference field: keep it clean. BK8 specifically says not to put “BK8” in the transfer reference. If the cashier gives you a reference code, use that and nothing else.
6. Confirm in your bank app and screenshot the success page. You want the time, amount and transaction reference visible.
7. Submit the deposit form. UWIN33 says deposits take 3–5 minutes and that uploading your bank slip speeds things up. If the cashier has an upload button, use it.
8. Wait for the credit, then transfer to a game wallet and choose your promo code. At GOD55, it’s the “255% Unbeatable Welcome Bonus (SLOT)” code in the dropdown; at me88 it’s the “288% Welcome Jackpot Bonus”; at Maxim88 you pick the welcome bonus when you move money to the Slots or Fishing wallet. UWIN33 shows its welcome options at the deposit step. No code, no bonus, no second chance.

That’s it. On a normal day the whole thing takes less time than queueing for kopi.

How long it takes, and what “pending” really means

PayNow itself is instant. The wait is on the casino side: a finance team or an automated matcher has to pair your incoming transfer with your deposit request. That gap is what the cashier calls “pending” or “processing”. Here’s what the casinos state:

If you’re still pending after double the stated window, go to live chat. Don’t send a second deposit “to see if it works”, because then you have two transfers to trace instead of one. Kancheong only makes it worse.

Fees and conversion: what PayNow actually costs

Between Singapore bank accounts, PayNow is free at the bank end, and all the casinos above run SGD accounts, so there’s no currency conversion on a PayNow deposit. The number you pay is the number that lands.

On the casino side, BK8’s FAQ says it doesn’t charge for deposits or withdrawals. The other casinos we review don’t publish a fee schedule for PayNow, so the honest answer is: any fee shows in the cashier before you confirm. If a screen suddenly adds a “processing fee” or a “tax” that wasn’t there before, stop and read our scam-spotting guide first, because real casinos don’t invent charges mid-flow.

Conversion only becomes a topic when you mix rails: deposit by PayNow and later ask for a crypto payout. UWIN33 only pays crypto if your last deposit was crypto, me88 pays out in the currency you deposited, and GOD55 opens USDT withdrawals from Bronze tier. Keep it simple: PayNow in, bank out.

The deposit bonus trap: turnover starts when you deposit

Here’s where kiasu players lose money. A bonus doesn’t make your deposit bigger for free; it attaches a turnover target to it, and that clock starts the moment the bonus lands. Two things people miss:

When the transfer hangs: the 5 checks

Deposit not showing after 15 minutes? Don’t panic, do these five checks in order. Nine out of ten times the answer is in the first three.

1. Did the bank actually send it? Open your bank app’s transaction history. “Processing” on the bank side means the casino hasn’t received anything yet. A failed transfer because you hit your own PayNow limit looks exactly like a casino delay from the outside.

4. Was the reference right? No “BK8” at BK8, and if a reference code was given, exactly that code.
5. Did you submit the deposit form (and the slip, at UWIN33)? A transfer with no matching request on the casino side is just money arriving with no label.

What live chat will ask you for

Have these ready before you open the chat window, so the agent doesn’t have to ask three times:

• Your username and the amount.
• The date and time of the transfer.
• A screenshot of the bank confirmation showing amount, time and transaction reference.
• The receiving account you paid (last four digits or the UEN).
• Which wallet you were topping up, if the casino has several.

Everything below comes from the cashier records we checked on 1–2 October 2026 and the casinos’ own pages. Where a casino doesn’t publish something, we say so rather than guess.

A few notes so you don’t kena surprised. GOD55’s “S$3,000–20,000” is a real spread: its VIP page lists S$20,000 a day for Normal members, but the T&Cs’ group table shows S$3,000 for the entry Bronze group, and the same terms cap daily winnings at S$3,000 for that group. BK8 doesn’t publish a regular-member limit, only VIP tiers from S$40,000. Maxim88 and AW8 list PayNow for deposits but don’t say whether it pays out, so plan on a bank transfer. No PayNow? GrabPay and bank transfer

DK88 is the one casino on our SG list without PayNow, and it’s also our highest-rated one, so this matters. Its payment strip shows GrabPay, online banking, QR payments and crypto, and the GrabPay route is painless if you already keep a Grab balance: top up Grab from your card or bank, then pay the casino from the Grab wallet.
