Gates of Olympus in Singapore: big multipliers, bigger swings
Zeus doesn’t do small talk. Gates of Olympus is Pragmatic Play’s 6x5 pay-anywhere slot: eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid win, tumbles clear them away, and multiplier orbs worth 2x to 500x can land on any spin. Hit 4 or more scatters for 15 free spins, where every multiplier adds to a running total that never resets for the round. The default RTP is 96.50%, the volatility is high and the max win is 5,000x. Where to play it. Pragmatic Play is in most SG lobbies we review. Two good fits:
- BK8 runs BK8-branded Pragmatic versions, Gates of Olympus included, with the RTP shown on every tile. A first deposit from S$50 adds free spins on those slots (188 at S$1,000), and the 100% welcome goes up to S$300 at 12x deposit + bonus.
- UWIN33 has Gates of Olympus in its lobby, a 100% slots welcome up to S$688 at 15x deposit + bonus, and S$10 free credit once you verify your account.
Stakes in SGD. High volatility means long cold spells between the big tumbles, so bring a cushion. S$200 at S$0.40 a spin is 500 spins. Ante Bet adds 25% to each spin (S$0.50) to double your chance of free spins, which cuts the same S$200 to 400 spins, and a bonus buy costs 100x your bet: S$40 at S$0.40.
Funding it. Both take PayNow and USDT; see our PayNow casinos for the rest.
Durian tip: Pragmatic offers casinos lower-RTP versions of this game, down to 94.50%. Check the RTP line in the info screen before you play, or pick BK8, where the figure is right on the tile. A 2-point gap sounds small, but over a long session it adds up sia. Our RTP and RNG guide shows how to check in seconds.
Quick verdict
Gates of Olympus is the slot where Zeus hovers beside the reels and hurls multiplier orbs into your wins. Pragmatic Play released it in February 2021, and its formula has since spawned a whole family of sequels: a 6x5 pay-anywhere grid, tumbles, and random multipliers from 2x to 500x that can land on any spin. In free spins, those multipliers feed a total that never resets, and that’s where the 5,000x max win lives.
Play it if you like:
- Big, dramatic multiplier moments, even in the base game
- Free spins rounds that build momentum as they go
- Simple win rules with no paylines to learn
Skip it if you want frequent small wins to keep your balance steady. This is high volatility, and quiet patches are normal.
Our score: 4.5/5 durians, Premium. It’s a genuine icon that still holds up.
How to play Gates of Olympus
- Set your bet. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100 per spin. With Ante Bet on, the range becomes 0.25 to 125. Bet steps differ at MYR, SGD and PHP casinos, so check the menu.
- Spin the 6x5 grid. There are no paylines. 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen form a win.
- Let the tumbles roll. Winners pay and vanish, symbols fall, new ones fill in, and the chain keeps going until no new win appears.
- Watch for orbs. Zeus can drop a multiplier onto any spin or tumble.
Symbols and paytable highlights
Five gems make up the low tier: blue, green, yellow, purple and red. Above them sit four treasures, the cup, ring, hourglass and crown. Wins pay in bands of 8–9, 10–11 and 12+ symbols. The crown is the top regular symbol, paying 10x, 25x or 50x your bet across those bands, while the humble blue gem tops out at 2x.
The Zeus scatter pays 3x, 5x or 100x for 4, 5 or 6 anywhere, and it triggers free spins. There are no wilds. That’s part of the reason the game can feel streaky, because every win has to come from natural clusters and tumbles.
Bonus features, step by step
Tumble feature
Every win triggers a tumble: winning symbols disappear, everything drops down, and new symbols arrive from the top. It runs in the base game and in free spins.
Multiplier orbs (2x to 500x)
- On any spin, Zeus can drop multiplier orbs onto the grid, with values from 2x to 500x.
- Orbs stay on screen while the tumble sequence continues.
- When the sequence ends, all orbs on screen are added together.
- That total multiplies the sequence’s total win. Orbs on a losing sequence pay nothing.
For example, a 15x and a 20x orb landing on a winning sequence give a 35x multiplier.
Free spins and bonus buy
Triggering: land 4 or more Zeus scatters for 15 free spins, plus the scatter payout.
The total multiplier: during free spins, every orb that lands on a winning sequence is added to a running total multiplier, and that total applies to wins for the rest of the round. It never resets, which is why late spins in a hot round can be enormous.
Retriggers: 3 or more scatters during free spins award 5 more spins.
Getting there faster, where your casino offers it:
- Ante Bet: pay 25% more per spin to double your chance of landing the scatters.
- Bonus Buy: 100x your bet for instant entry into the 15-spin round.
Straight talk: buying doesn’t improve the long-run odds. It concentrates your risk. A 1.00 buy is 100 on one round, and some rounds land well below that. Use it only with money set aside for fun.
RTP and volatility, explained plainly
The default RTP is 96.50%, meaning about 96.50 back per 100 staked over millions of spins. That says nothing about a single session. Pragmatic also lets casinos run lower versions (as low as 94.50%), so it’s worth 10 seconds to open the info screen in real-money mode and check. Our RTP and RNG guide covers the details.
Volatility is high. Most spins pay little or nothing, and the big moments come from orbs, usually in free spins. Think in spins: 250 spins at 0.40 is 100, which gives you a fair shot at seeing the bonus. Our slot volatility guide explains how to size a session.
Max win: how 5,000x is reached
The cap is 5,000x your bet, so 5,000 at a 1.00 stake. The path runs through free spins. Big orbs (100x, 250x, the dream 500x) need to land on winning tumbles early, building the total multiplier, and then crown or hourglass clusters need to land while that total is high. Because the total never resets during the round, a strong start can carry the whole bonus to the cap.
Mobile play
Gates of Olympus is HTML5 and runs on Android and iOS, in the browser or inside casino apps such as BK8’s native app. The 6x5 grid and the big orb animations are easy to follow on a phone, and Ante Bet and Buy Free Spins are both available on mobile.

Final verdict
Gates of Olympus earned its throne. The rules are simple, the orbs make any spin feel like it could explode, and the never-resetting total multiplier in free spins delivers some of the most exciting bonus rounds in online slots. The flip side is classic high volatility, with dry spells you need to budget for. If you want a bigger ceiling, step up to the 1000 version. If you want the original that started it all, this is it. Demo it, check the RTP, and may Zeus be generous.
