Short answer: AW8 is a real casino with a thin paper trail. It has run since 2017 by its own account, the lobby is huge (6,787 slots and 1,414 live tables on AW8 Pro Singapore), PayNow works, and withdrawals are listed at 15 minutes to 24 hours. But the terms name no operating company, and casino.guru says the two licence badges in the footer are fake. That’s why our AW8 review gives it 2/5 durians: fun product, thin paperwork, start small. Licence and operator: what AW8 actually publishes
This part hor decides the score. AW8 runs two Singapore sites, the original AW8 and the newer AW8 Pro, and both footers carry Curaçao and PAGCOR logos. Click through to the terms and you find no company name, no registration number and no licence number.
| Check | What AW8 publishes |
|---|---|
| Operator | Not disclosed in AW8’s terms |
| Licence | Curaçao and PAGCOR logos in the footer, no licence number; casino.guru says both are fake |
| Established | 2017 (per AW8) |
| Currencies | SGD, MYR and USDT |
| Sites | AW8 (original) and AW8 Pro, separate platforms with their own promos and VIP ladders |
| Responsible-play tools | None found by casino.guru; ask live chat for limits |
Why it matters: a licence badge without a number is just a picture. A named company with a registration number is something you can hold to account if a payout goes wrong. AW8 gives you the picture only, so your protection is your own habits: small deposits, early verification, regular cash-outs.
What casino.guru says
casino.guru reviews the brand under its full name, AceWin8, and it’s the only third-party score we can cite, because AskGamblers and sbo.net don’t review AW8 at all.
- Safety Index: Low (3.9). The reasons are the two licence badges it marks as fake and the undisclosed owner.
- No responsible-gambling tools found on the site.
- Two complaints logged, one of them an account closed over “abnormal bets”.
- Support rated good in its test, which matches what we saw: 24/7 live chat and a Telegram bot, in English, Malay and Chinese.
Two complaints is a small number for a brand this size. The problem is what happens to the ones that go wrong: with no licence behind the badges, there’s no regulator to escalate to.
Payout evidence
What AW8 commits to on paper, from its Singapore FAQ pages, the promo terms and our cashier check on 1 October 2026:
| Item | AW8’s rules |
|---|---|
| Withdrawal time | 15 minutes to 24 hours, per AW8 |
| Daily limit | SGD 50,000 on a regular account, up to SGD 1,000,000 at VIP Diamond |
| Withdrawal methods | Bank transfer and USDT confirmed; PayNow, GrabPay and EeziePay are deposit rails (payout route not stated) |
| Minimum deposit | Around SGD 30 (SGD 50 for the 150% welcome bonus) |
| Verification | AW8 asks you to verify your account; do it before you deposit big, not after you win |
| Fees | Not stated |
| Free-credit cash-out | SGD 10 free credit: 12x, max SGD 100, paid to a Singapore bank only |
Two more rules from the promo terms: lucky-wheel wins need SGD 100 of deposits before you can withdraw them, and AW8 Pro’s 140% bonus comes with a one-hour withdrawal check. The 150% welcome bonus is 35x on deposit plus bonus (about 58x the bonus), so if you’re testing the cashier, skip it and take the SGD 10 free credit instead. Our AW8 withdrawal guide has the step-by-step.
Durian tip: make your first withdrawal a small one, within the first week, before any big deposit. AW8 lists 15 minutes to 24 hours; if a SGD 50 payout lands on time, you know the cashier works. If it doesn’t, you’ve lost very little. That’s the whole test lah.
Watch-outs
- No named operator and no licence number, and casino.guru calls both footer badges fake.
- Two separate sites. AW8 and AW8 Pro have their own logins, promos and VIP ladders; log in on the one you joined.
- Heavy welcome wagering: 35x deposit plus bonus, with Mega888, 918Kiss and fishing excluded.
Our verdict
2/5 durians (Overripe): fun product, thin paperwork, start small. AW8 isn’t a scam by anything we found, and we won’t call it safe either, because nobody is accountable on paper. What it is: a big JILI, Pragmatic and Evolution lobby with PayNow deposits, SGD 10 free credit, hourly rebates and a published payout window. If that appeals, play it the kiasu way: claim the free credit, deposit SGD 30 by PayNow, verify your account on day one, and cash out wins as you go instead of leaving a balance sitting there. Want paperwork you can actually check? DK88 and BK8 both print a company name and a licence number. Not sure how to read a casino footer? Our spot a scam casino guide shows what to look for.
