AW8 Malaysia Review 2026 — 150% up to RM1,500, 9,000+ Slots & AW8 vs AW8 Pro

Our verdict

AW8 is one of the biggest casino brands in Malaysia, and it’s easy to see why. We went through both of its Malaysian sites, the original AW8 and the newer AW8 Pro, covering the lobbies, promotions, VIP pages, sign-up form and mobile site. What stands out most is the sheer size of the lobby: 9,174 slots, 1,726 live tables and 196 fishing games from 90+ providers on AW8 Pro alone.

The offers are just as busy. New members get a 150% welcome bonus up to RM1,500 on slots, or a 208% package spread over three deposits. After that comes an instant rebate of up to 1% (no cap, updated every hour), Angpao Rain every 2 hours, RM1,888 lucky-streak bonuses and a free lucky-wheel spin when you sign up. Touch ’n Go, DuitNow, GrabPay and USDT all work, and a regular account can withdraw up to RM50,000 a day.

So why only 2/5 durians (Overripe)? Trust. casino.guru, which lists the brand as AceWin8, gives it a Low (3.9) Safety Index rating. It says the Curaçao and PAGCOR licences on display are fake, and the owner isn’t disclosed. If you play here, use entertainment money only and verify your account early.

AW8 vs AW8 Pro: one brand, two sites

AW8’s portal, aw8.online, sends Malaysian players to two different sites. Both carry the AW8 name, but they’re separate platforms, each with its own lobby, promotions and VIP ladder:

Durian tip: Want the clearest welcome bonus, with a turnover example published by the casino itself? Join the original AW8 and take the 150%. For small deposits with lighter turnover, AW8 Pro suits you better: deposit RM20 and the 140% bonus gives you RM28 free at 15x.

The AW8 welcome bonus: 150% explained

AW8’s 150% bonus is claimed on your first transfer from the main wallet into a game wallet. You choose the product, and the cap depends on which one you pick:

How the turnover works

• Minimum transfer of RM50 to qualify, once per new member.
• 35x deposit + bonus. AW8’s own example (from the SGD version of the same offer): deposit 50 + bonus 75, × 35 = 4,375 in turnover. That works out to about 58x the bonus on its own.
• 30 days to clear it.
• Excluded games: Pragmatic Play, Mega888, 918Kiss and Pussy888 slots (plus Allbet, Dream Gaming, Playtech, Evolution and Asia Gaming tables for the live casino version). Non-slot games don’t count.

Turnover is what international sites call the wagering requirement. Not sure how the numbers add up? Our guide to turnover explains it in two minutes, and our low-turnover casinos list shows which bonuses are lighter.

The 208% option

Prefer your bonus split into smaller pieces? AW8 also offers 208% over your first three deposits, worth up to RM500 extra.

AW8 Pro’s 140% first-deposit bonus

AW8 Pro’s banner says “140% bonus worth up to 9,999”, but the bonus is actually tiered:

Turnover is a lighter 15x, on slots and fishing (not Mega888 or 918Kiss), and there’s a 1-hour withdrawal check. For small deposits the value is steady, but at the top of the table it only works out to about 10%.

Free spins, Angpao and daily rewards

• Free lucky-wheel spin: sign up at AW8 and get 200 Lucky Spin points (one spin), activated with a RM20 deposit. Prizes run from RM8 to RM1,688 cash, an iPhone 17 Pro Max or a MacBook Pro (you need RM100 in deposits before you can withdraw a win).
• Angpao Rain every 2 hours: random red packets worth up to 3,888, at 5x turnover.
• Saturday Angpao (in the app) and an 18th Members Day with rewards of up to 188,888.
• Lucky streak: win 8 live baccarat rounds or 8 football bets in a row for a bonus of up to RM1,888, at just 1x turnover.
• First bet on us: 100% cashback on a losing first football bet, up to RM200.
• Daily reload of 20% (up to RM500, 10x), a weekly rescue of up to RM5,888, and a 7-day check-in bonus worth RM208 on AW8 Pro.

AW8 Pro also gives free credit (free kredit) to members who join its Telegram channel. For more no-deposit offers from other brands, see our free credit casinos.

Rebates

The original AW8 pays an instant rebate you can claim every hour, with no maximum:

AW8 Pro advertises a 4% slot rebate. It starts at 0.7% and only reaches 4% once you pass 30 million in valid bets, while sports and live casino get 0.7%. Both rebates need just 1x turnover.

VIP programme

On the original AW8 site, you move up the ladder through monthly deposits:

VIPs from other casinos can transfer their tier to AW8 and claim up to RM2,188 in welcome bonuses at just 1x turnover. AW8 Pro runs its own 13-level ladder, from VIP 0 to VIP 12, with level bonuses totalling up to RM17,664 and bonus payouts processed daily at 12 noon.

Games: 9,000+ slots and 90+ providers

Slots: 9,174 games from 63 studios

AW8 Pro Malaysia lists 9,174 slots. Every name Malaysian players search for is here (JILI, Pragmatic Play, Fa Chai, Spadegaming, Playtech, CQ9, JDB, KA Gaming, NextSpin, Habanero), along with Hacksaw, Nolimit City, Relax, Yggdrasil, Play’n GO, NetEnt, Red Tiger and Big Time Gaming. Hot picks when we tested included Fortune Garuda 500, Super Ace, Mahjong Ways 2 and Gates of Olympus 1000.

Got Mega888 or not? Got: the Egames tab adds Mega888, 918Kiss and Pussy888, though remember they don’t count towards the 150% bonus. Our Mega888 guide covers how app slots work inside a casino wallet. Curious about the Pragmatic hit? Read our Gates of Olympus 1000 review or the Super Ace review before you spin.

Live casino: 1,726 tables from 15 studios

Evolution, Sexy Baccarat, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, BG, Dream Gaming, SA Gaming, Ezugi, Allbet, WM, Yeebet, OG, MT Live, CT855 and BBIN. That covers Speed Baccarat, Lightning Baccarat, Crazy Time, Monopoly Big Baller and every sic bo variant you can think of. New to live tables? Start with our live casino guide or learn how to play baccarat.

Fishing, card games and instant wins

There are 196 fishing games (Jackpot Fishing, Ocean King, Bao Chuan Fishing), 343 card games (including Tongits Go and Kingmaker Pok Deng) and 260 instant-win games such as Aviator, Mines and Chicken Road. The original AW8 site also has Grand Dragon 4D lottery with a rebate of up to 10%. Fishing is your thing? Compare more options on our fishing casinos list.

Sportsbook

AW8 Pro carries seven sportsbooks (SBO, SABA, CMD368, BTi, M9, 3Sing and UG), plus esports and cockfighting. EPL matches with Asian handicap odds sit right on the homepage. Football fans should also look at the first-bet cashback (up to RM200) and the 8-win football lucky streak (up to RM1,888).

Mobile & app

AW8 Pro’s mobile site is built for thumbs, with swipeable category tabs and a bottom bar for Rewards, Register, Referral and Account. AW8 also has iOS and Android apps. On the original site, a deposit of RM100 or more made through the app adds a small bonus (RM5, more for VIPs), and AW8 Pro’s Saturday Angpao can only be claimed in the app.

How to sign up at AW8

1. Go to the AW8 site for your country (via aw8.online) and tap Sign up or Join Now.
2. On AW8 Pro, choose Username or Mobile and fill in your details with your +60 number.
3. Enter a referral or affiliate code if you have one.
4. Tick the box confirming you’re 18 or older (the site’s own age check), accept the terms and tap Join Now. Google sign-up works too.
5. Make your first deposit, then claim the welcome bonus on your first transfer into a game wallet.

Remember that AW8 and AW8 Pro are separate platforms, so always log in on the site where you registered. Our AW8 login guide walks through both sites step by step.

Payments & withdrawals

Minimum deposits start at around RM30 according to AW8’s FAQ (RM20 for some offers, RM50 for the welcome bonus). AW8 says withdrawals take 15 minutes to 24 hours. A regular account can withdraw RM50,000 a day (RM30,000 by bank transfer, RM50,000 in crypto) across a maximum of 8 transactions.

Prefer to pay by e-wallet? Compare our Touch ’n Go casinos and DuitNow casinos, or see the USDT casinos if you deposit in crypto.

Safety & licence

AW8’s footer shows Curaçao and PAGCOR logos and its FAQ page mentions both, but neither the terms nor the footer gives a company name or licence number. casino.guru lists the brand as AceWin8, rates it Low (3.9) on its Safety Index, says both licences are fake, notes that the owner isn’t disclosed and finds no responsible-gambling tools. It records two complaints, one of them about an account closed over “abnormal bets”. AskGamblers and sbo.net don’t review AW8.

Durian tip: verify your account before any big deposit, screenshot the bonus terms you claim, and never chase losses. Our responsible gambling page lists free help.

Support

24/7 live chat on both sites, a Telegram support bot, and service in English, Malay and Chinese. casino.guru rated its support as good during its testing.

Bottom line

2/5 durians: Overripe. AW8 nails the fun parts: a giant lobby with 9,000+ slots and 1,700+ live tables, a 150% welcome bonus, uncapped hourly rebates and non-stop Angpao, all paid through the wallets Malaysians actually use. The licence questions keep it out of our top tier. If the lobby wins you over, start small lah, verify early and read each promo’s turnover before you claim. Want a higher-rated alternative? Compare DK88 (4/5), Maxim88 and GOD55 in the table below.
