Maxim88 Review 2026 — 288% Welcome Bonus, an Exclusive Evolution Baccarat Table & 40 Casino Studios

Our verdict

Maxim88 is a household name in Malaysian and Singaporean online casino, and it’s been around longer than most of its rivals (it says since 2006). We spent a session on its Malaysian and Singaporean sites, going through the lobby, every promotion’s fine print, the VIP table, sign-up, the sportsbook and the mobile site. One thing stood out on every page: Maxim88 is built for Evolution fans.

It runs its own exclusive Evolution baccarat table, gives Evolution players a weekly Lucky Draw worth MYR 46,264, and adds baccarat and blackjack cashback promos on top. Newcomers can take a 288% slots and fishing bonus (MYR 100 becomes MYR 388) or a 100% welcome on sports, slots or live casino. After that, an instant cash rebate of up to 1% with no turnover pays out every hour.

Add 40 casino studios in Malaysia, every e-wallet Malaysians use, PayNow in Singapore, crypto, and proper iOS and Android apps, and Maxim88 earns 3.5/5 durians. It would score higher if the welcome bonus were bigger and the T&Cs named the company behind the site.

The Maxim88 welcome bonus: 288% explained

Maxim88 gives new players two welcome offers to choose from. Both are open only if you haven’t joined any other Maxim88 promotion yet, so pick before your first deposit.

Singapore accounts get the same structure in SGD: 288% up to SGD 288, or 100% up to SGD 500 on sports.

How the wagering works

• 288% bonus: deposit at least MYR 100, transfer it to your Slots or Fishing wallet and pick 288% Welcome Bonus (Slots) from the promo-code dropdown. A MYR 100 deposit unlocks the full MYR 288.
• 28x turnover within 30 days. casino.guru records it on deposit + bonus, so MYR 388 × 28 = MYR 10,864 in bets.
• Slots and fishing only. Every slot and fishing provider counts except PlayAce, Mega888 and 918Kiss.
• One transfer per provider. While the bonus is active you can’t make a second transfer to the same provider until you finish the turnover or cancel the promo.

Which one should you take? For a big slots balance from a small deposit, take the 288%: MYR 100 turns into MYR 388. If you plan to deposit MYR 300 or more, the 100% slots bonus clears much faster: deposit MYR 300, get MYR 300, and wager 12 × MYR 600 = MYR 7,200. New to the maths? Our wagering guide explains it in two minutes.

188 free spins on Pragmatic Play

First-time depositors can also take free spins on four Pragmatic Play hits: Gates of Olympus, Starlight Princess, Sweet Bonanza and Sugar Rush. Each spin is worth MYR 0.20.

Spins are credited by 7 PM (GMT+8) the next working day. Open an eligible game within 3 days to claim them, then use them within 14 days.

Promotions & rebates

Maxim88’s promo page has tabs for Evo Club, New Member, Special, Casino, Slot, Sportsbook and Winner. These were the regulars when we visited:

• Daily reload of 10%: up to MYR 300 on slots, MYR 200 on sports and MYR 100 on live casino (12x). On Mega888 and 918Kiss, your 5th deposit within 48 hours earns 50%.
• Weekly cashback up to MYR 8,888. Lose MYR 5,000 or more in a week and you get a fixed MYR 168–238 back. Above MYR 10,000 you get 3% to 8% depending on your tier (10x turnover).
• 0 Risk Bet: your first sports bet of MYR 100+ on handicap or over/under gets 100% of a losing stake back, up to MYR 300 (6x).
• App Deposit Reward: an extra MYR 8 on a MYR 100 app deposit, once a week, with just 2x turnover.

Maxim88 also runs big-ticket draws. When we visited it had just given away F1 Malaysia Grand Prix tickets, Paddock passes included, to depositors.

The site’s own copy mentions PAGCOR and Curaçao, but the T&Cs don’t name a company or a licence number. casino.guru notes a USD 150,000 daily net-win cap on the Malaysian site.

The 288% welcome is a strong start for small slots deposits. Choose your bonus before you transfer, verify your ID early, and you’ll be playing at one of Malaysia’s best-known casino brands.
