Is MD88 Legit? Our 2026 Safety Check: Licence, Payouts, Complaints

Short answer: MD88 is legit as a product, with paperwork that doesn’t add up. It has run since 2019 (as MCD88), publishes a banking table most Malaysian casinos don’t, and lists bank withdrawals at 5–15 minutes. But the Curaçao licence number in its terms belongs to another site, the seal that validates is held by a different company, and casino.guru rates it Low. Licence and operator: two documents, two companies

So MD88 does hold a licence we could validate, the Anjouan one, which puts it ahead of brands that show only a badge. But the terms you agree to name a different company and a licence that isn’t MD88’s. Two documents that don’t match is the whole reason our trust score is 1 out of 5.

What casino.guru says

• Low (4.9) Safety Index, and the licence flagged as fake.
• Three complaints, including Indonesian players reporting confiscated bonus winnings and blocked accounts; all three were closed as rejected after the players stopped replying.
• No loss-limit tool: MD88’s own terms say so.
• casino.guru counts 53 game providers, which matches MD88’s “50+” claim; the Pragmatic Play, JILI, Evolution and Sexy Baccarat lobbies are real.

Payout evidence

MD88 is unusual among Malaysian-facing casinos in that it prints its limits and times on a Banking Information page, so the numbers below are MD88’s own:

Durian tip: Test the payout before the bonus, not after. Deposit RM30 by DuitNow with no bonus, play, and withdraw a small win; MD88’s own guide for Singapore players gives the same advice. Only once that RM50 has landed in your Maybank should you think about the 288% package and its 35x turnover.

The fine print to know

The 288% welcome bonus’s terms don’t say whether the 35x applies to the bonus or to deposit + bonus; every other MD88 deposit bonus uses deposit + bonus, so budget for the heavier one. The bonus is slots only, 30 days, one claim per person, household and IP address, and Playtech, Asia Gaming, Relax, Habanero, Lucky365, BNG, 918Kiss, Mega888 and Pussy888 don’t count. Bonus terms like these are where casino.guru’s “confiscated winnings” complaints usually come from, so stay inside them.
