Quick verdict
Mega Ace is JILI’s supersized take on the card slot. Where Super Ace uses a 5x4 grid, Mega Ace spreads its playing cards across a 6x6 grid with 46,656 ways to win. Every win clears away and new cards drop in, a cascade multiplier climbs from x1 to x5 as the chain goes on, and Golden Cards leave Wild Jokers behind when they win. In free spins the multiplier doubles, up to x10. JILI lists the game as published in March 2022.
Play it if you like:
- A 97% RTP, above the usual 96%
- Chain-reaction cascades on a big grid, where one win often leads to the next
- Having options: an Extra Bet for stronger multipliers and a feature buy to go straight to free spins
Skip it if you want a shot at a very big win. The max is 1,500x your bet, which is modest for a game this size.
Our score: 3.5/5 durians, Ripe. It’s a solid, generous card slot with more tools than Super Ace. It just doesn’t aim very high, and casino.guru notes that, judging by searches, it isn’t a very popular slot.
How to play Mega Ace
- Set your stake. casino.guru lists bets from 0.10 to 100 per spin in the game’s base currency. Casinos set their own steps for MYR, PHP, SGD or USDT, so open the bet menu first.
- Decide on Extra Bet. It adds 50% to your stake and starts the multiplier one step higher (more below). Leave it off while you learn the game.
- Spin the 6x6 grid. There are no paylines. You win with matching cards on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, and a card that lands in several rows can pay several times over.
- Watch the cascade. Winning cards are cleared, new ones fall into the gaps, and the game checks for new wins. Each new win in the same chain pushes the multiplier up a step.
The 6x6 grid and 46,656 ways
Six reels of six rows give 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 x 6 = 46,656 ways to win. JILI describes it as an oversized 6x6 reel. You don’t need to track the ways yourself: any card that matches on reels next to each other, starting from the first reel, pays for every combination it completes.
The symbols are playing cards, and JILI calls the theme a golden Ace. The special symbols are the scatter, which triggers free spins, and the Wild Joker, which substitutes for every symbol except the scatter, according to slotcatalog. Tap the info button in the game for the exact paytable at your stake.
With this many ways, a single spin is rarely the story. The value comes from cascades chaining together while the multiplier climbs.
Golden Cards and Wild Jokers: the core mechanic
This is the feature that ties the game together. Some of the cards on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 land as Golden Cards, according to slotcatalog. A Golden Card behaves like a normal card until it’s part of a win. When it’s cleared in that win, it doesn’t simply vanish: it leaves a Wild Joker behind in its place.
That Joker then sits on the grid for the next cascade, substituting for any card except the scatter. Since it appears right after a win, it’s already in position to help build the next one, which keeps the chain going and pushes the multiplier up another step.
The best case is a winning Golden Card on reel 2 or 3, because a Wild early in the grid can connect more combinations from the left.
The cascade multiplier
Every cascade in a chain raises the multiplier. JILI’s game page lists the base-game steps as x1, x2, x3, x4 and x5, and slotcatalog explains how they apply:
| Win in the chain | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1st | x1 |
| 2nd | x2 |
| 3rd | x3 |
| 4th | x4 |
| 5th | x5 |
| 6th and beyond | stays at x5 |
The multiplier resets when a cascade produces no new win. That’s why Golden Cards matter so much: every Joker they leave behind makes the next win more likely, and every extra win is worth more than the last.
Free spins: where the multiplier doubles
Land 3 scatters to trigger 10 free spins. slotcatalog says each scatter beyond the third adds 2 more spins.
In the round, the multiplier ladder is doubled. JILI lists the free game steps as x2, x4, x6 and x8, up to x10, so even the first win of a chain pays double. A long chain of cascades in free spins, helped by Golden Cards turning into Jokers, is where Mega Ace’s biggest results come from.
Free spins don’t arrive on a schedule. Some sessions see them early, others not at all, which is worth remembering when you size your stake.
Extra Bet and the feature buy
Mega Ace gives you two optional tools. Decide on both before you start.
Extra Bet costs 50% more per spin, according to slotcatalog. In return, the lowest step of each multiplier ladder is removed: in the base game the first win already pays x2, and in free spins the first win pays x4. JILI’s page describes the same idea, with Extra Bet starting the multipliers from the second level. No source gives a separate RTP for Extra Bet mode, so treat it as a way to change the feel of the game, not as better value. You pay more on every spin, losing ones included.
The feature buy sits behind a dollar-coin button in the top right corner of the screen. slotcatalog lists the price as 44.50x your bet for an instant round of free spins, and notes it’s only there “if available”. Some casinos and countries switch feature buys off, so don’t be surprised if you can’t find it. If you do use it, remember that a 44.5x bonus can pay back less than it cost, and at a 1,500x cap the upside is limited. Buy at a stake where losing the full price won’t hurt your session.
RTP and volatility, explained plainly
The RTP is 97% on casino.guru, and slotcatalog lists 97.31%. Over millions of spins, the game returns about 97 for every 100 staked, a house edge of around 3%, which is better than most slots. Over a single session, anything can happen, and the RTP doesn’t make a win more likely on any one spin. JILI doesn’t print the RTP on its public game page, so confirm it in the info screen at your casino. Our RTP and RNG guide explains what the number really means.
Volatility is medium on JILI’s own rating (“MED”), while slotcatalog calls it low-to-medium. Either way, expect regular small cascades, with the bigger results kept for long chains and free spins. It’s a game that suits a sensible budget. Think in spins rather than money: 250 spins at 0.20 is 50. Our slot volatility guide shows how to size a session.
Max win: 1,500x
JILI’s official game page lists the max win as 1,500x your bet, and casino.guru and slotcatalog give the same figure. At a 1.00 stake that’s 1,500.
The route to the top runs through free spins: a long chain of cascades that reaches the x10 step, with Golden Cards leaving Jokers that connect high cards across many of the 46,656 ways. On a game with medium volatility that’s a rare event, and most wins will be far smaller. If a big ceiling matters most to you, Fortune Gems 3 goes up to 10,125x, with much higher volatility.
Tips that actually help
No strategy beats a slot. A random number generator (RNG) decides every spin and every cascade, and a long dry run doesn’t make free spins “due”. These tips won’t change the maths, but they help your money last:
- Check the RTP line first. Open the info screen in real-money mode and confirm the figure.
- Try the demo. casino.guru and slotcatalog both host one. A few minutes shows you how often chains reach x3 or more and how often Golden Cards land.
- Decide on Extra Bet and the feature buy before you start, not after a losing run.
- Pick a stake that gives you 250+ spins. Free spins and long chains need time to show up.
- Set a loss limit and a win target, and stop when you reach either one.
- Read bonus terms before you claim. Welcome bonuses come with wagering and a max-bet rule, and some casinos don’t count feature buys towards wagering. Our wagering guide explains how to check an offer.
Mobile play
Mega Ace works well on a phone. slotcatalog says it’s built in HTML5, fits any screen and plays on both Android and iOS, so it runs in Chrome or Safari and inside casino apps that carry JILI. A 6x6 grid is busier than Super Ace’s 5x4, so the cards are a little smaller on a phone screen, but the cascades are easy to follow.
Why Mega Ace fits Southeast Asia
Card slots are a natural fit in the region. The theme is instantly familiar to anyone who grew up with tongits, pusoy or a deck of cards at family gatherings, and JILI’s Super Ace is one of the most visible games in the Philippine and Malaysian lobbies we’ve reviewed. Mega Ace is its bigger-grid cousin, and you’ll find it in the JILI section of GOD55’s Malaysian lobby, which we captured with Mega Ace listed next to Wild Ace.
The rest of the appeal is practical. The 97% RTP and medium volatility suit small, mobile-first sessions, stakes start low, and the feature buy and Extra Bet give regular players more ways to play the same game. Malaysian players will find JILI next to Mega888 and 918Kiss in most of the local lobbies we review (see our Mega888 guide and 918Kiss guide). casino.guru and slotcatalog list Mega Ace under the TaDa Gaming name, JILI’s brand for international markets, so don’t be confused if you see it there.
Mega Ace vs Super Ace
They look alike, so here’s how they differ, using JILI’s figures and the details on our Super Ace review:
| Super Ace | Mega Ace | |
|---|---|---|
| Grid | 5x4, 1,024 ways | 6x6, 46,656 ways |
| Golden Cards | Reels 2 to 4 | Reels 2 to 5 |
| Base multiplier | x1, x2, x3, x5 | x1, x2, x3, x4, x5 |
| Free spins multiplier | x2, x4, x6, x10 | x2, x4, x6, x8, x10 |
| Max win (JILI) | 10,000x | 1,500x |
Super Ace has the higher ceiling on JILI’s own page and the Big Joker, which spreads extra Wilds. Mega Ace has the bigger grid, a smoother multiplier ladder, and an Extra Bet and feature buy for more control. If you enjoy one, the other is worth a try.
If you like this, try these
- Super Ace: the original JILI card slot, with 1,024 ways, Golden Cards, Big and Little Jokers and a 97% RTP.
- Wild Ace: another JILI card game with cascades, where the royals themselves turn wild as your chain of wins grows.
- Golden Empire: JILI’s Inca slot with up to 32,400 ways, Golden Frames that turn into Wilds and an uncapped free spins multiplier.

Final verdict
Mega Ace takes JILI’s winning card-slot formula and gives it more room: a 6x6 grid with 46,656 ways, Golden Cards that leave Wild Jokers, a multiplier that climbs to x5 and doubles to x10 in free spins, plus an Extra Bet and a feature buy. The 97% RTP is generous and the volatility is easy on a budget. The 1,500x cap is what holds it back, so it’s a game for steady, chain-reaction sessions rather than jackpot hunting. Check the RTP, decide on the extras up front, and keep your limits in place.
